What is the Hoshizora Gala?

The Hoshizora Gala is Aozora’s annual fundraising celebration, bringing our community together to support a particular cause each year. This year, all funds raised will go toward enhancing our St. Marks location and creating a beautiful backyard garden.

A highlight of the year, Hoshizora is a fun and festive evening where the adults of Aozora’s community gather to connect, celebrate, and make a lasting impact. The event features both silent and live auctions, showcasing a unique selection of items generously donated by Aozora and its community. Drinks, food and entertainment are included in all ticket levels. 

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

Advance ticket sales help us plan for the number of attendees and streamline the check-in process so you can start enjoying the party without waiting!

Is this a seated event?

The event takes place around the 99 Scott studio space, which is a loft like space. You will be able to mix and mingle, view select items available for bidding, and eat and drink throughout the space, though there will be a mix of hightop and low top tables to accommodate those who would prefer to sit or take a perch by the stage to raise their paddle and bid !

Who Can Attend?

Anyone! Bring your parents, your neighbors, your friends, or anyone you think might be interested in our community. Just leave the kids at home, as this is an adult-only event.

How does bidding work?

The online catalog will be available to view before the event; all ticket holders will be sent a link to access it. Silent Auction bidding begins in advance of the event and runs through the close of the Live Auction. The Live Auction will take place during the event. 

What kind of items will be available to bid on?

The catalog includes everything from one-of-a-kind experiences, art, travel, sports memorabilia and tickets, epicurean delights, entertainment packages, fashion, and more! 

Can my dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Yes, the buffet style dinner provided by Trad Room, will be clearly labelled with gluten-free, vegan, and nut-free options.

What should I bring?

Yourself, a date, and a spirit of generosity! There will be an online silent auction as well as a paddle raise, live auction, and raffle items!

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire is recommended. Treat yourself out to a special night on the town for a great cause!

Is my ticket tax deductible?

Yes, a portion of your ticket is tax deductible.

I can't come to the Hoshizora Gala! Can I still make a donation?

Absolutely! We are so appreciative of any donation to the Gala, as it helps us reach our overall goal! If you can't make it to the Gala, consider purchasing a sponsorship, winning in the silent auction, or making a donation here.
